Optional Microsoft Clarity — updated 15 September 2026

Choosing Accept all in the cookie banner enables Microsoft Clarity together with YoDecor’s own visit counts; choosing Essential only enables neither. The banner names Clarity before you choose. This service helps us understand clicks, scrolling and usability through heatmaps and masked session recordings on our public pages, including the homepage, the Studio and the design guides.

It does not run on administration pages, shared project pages, password-reset pages, or on any address carrying a private value such as a referral code, invitation, token or email address.

Page content is explicitly masked wherever Clarity runs. YoDecor does not send uploaded room photos, generated designs, prompts, project names, account identifiers or email addresses to Clarity. What is recorded is interaction: where a pointer moves, what is clicked, how far a page is scrolled, and coarse product events such as opening Studio, selecting a workflow, completing an upload, starting or completing a render, registration and checkout progress. These events may include non-identifying categories such as language, workflow, input type, result status and whether the account is a test, registered or paid account.

Clarity is provided by Microsoft. With your consent, Microsoft receives interaction and technical data such as the page URL, browser/device information, network IP address and a pseudonymous session identifier. Advertising storage consent is denied.

The essential yodecor_clarity_consent_v1 cookie remembers this separate choice for six months. When enabled, Clarity may use _clck (one year) and _clsk (one day) for analytics. Microsoft applies its own retention periods to recordings and heatmaps; see its linked documentation.

To stop Clarity, open Cookie settings and choose Essential only. If Clarity is running, the page reloads to unload it and its YoDecor-domain cookies are cleared. Withdrawal stops future collection; it does not automatically erase recordings already held by Microsoft. Contact us through the privacy contact for a deletion request.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file stored by a website on your browser or device. Session cookies expire after a session; persistent cookies remain until their expiry date or until you delete them.

YoDecor does not use advertising cookies or sell information collected through cookies.

2. Cookies used by YoDecor

NameCategoryPurposeDuration
roomlens_sessionEssentialKeeps a signed-in account secure and links requests to the correct private account.Up to 30 days
yodecor_cookie_consent_v2Essential preferenceRemembers whether you selected Accept all or Essential only, so the banner does not repeatedly ask. The name carries a version so that a material change to what analytics covers asks you again rather than assuming an earlier answer still applies.6 months
yodecor_client_reviewEssentialUses a random identifier so a recipient can update a private approval or revision request on the same shared design. It contains no name or email.12 months
yodecor_visitorOptional analyticsAssigns a random first-party identifier to estimate unique anonymous visitors. It contains no name or email and is set only after consent.12 months

3. Optional analytics

After you select Accept analytics, YoDecor records the random visitor identifier, whether the visitor was signed in, the page path, approximate country, locale, timezone, opening time, campaign label and the referring website origin. The full referring page path is not retained. This is used only for internal service statistics and to understand which YoDecor links are useful.

YoDecor analytics does not store your IP address and does not use third-party advertising trackers. Stored analytics events are deleted after 13 months.

4. Essential storage

Authentication cookies are necessary when you ask to sign in. The consent preference is also necessary to remember your privacy choice. Browser local storage may remember interface preferences such as light or dark theme; it is not used for advertising.

If you arrive through a personal invitation link, YoDecor stores the invitation code in local storage for up to 30 days under yodecor-referral. It is used only when a new account is created so the inviter can receive the promised free visualization credit. It contains no email address and is removed after successful registration.

Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent you from using the website, creating an account, buying credits, generating designs or participating in the referral programme.

5. Google and Stripe

Google sign-in is loaded when you open the account sign-in flow, and Stripe Checkout is opened when you choose to purchase credits. Those services may set their own essential, security or preference cookies on their domains under their policies.

6. Change or withdraw consent

Use the persistent Cookie settings button at the bottom of any YoDecor page. Selecting Essential only stops future analytics, removes the optional visitor cookie and deletes analytics records linked to that browser identifier.

You can also delete cookies using browser settings. Doing so may sign you out or cause the consent banner to appear again. Withdrawing analytics consent is as easy as accepting it and does not reduce access to the service.

7. Contact

For questions about cookies or personal data, email teomihsav76@gmail.com. See the Privacy & GDPR Policy for further information about data rights.
